With MBUX, you have a multimedia system which leaves virtually nothing to be desired. The modular infotainment system is operated intuitively and can be customised and extended for up to 8 persons: from smartphone integration and intelligent voice control to the Mercedes-Benz navigation system.
6, 7 or 8-seater – the V-Class is exceptionally versatile
The V-Class grows with its tasks; the two rear rows of seats can be fitted with various combinations of individual seats as well as 3-passenger bench seats. Two comfortable individual seats and a 3-passenger bench seat are installed as standard in the rear. The mid-wheel base body has room for two 3-passenger bench seats, turning the V-Class into an eight-seater vehicle. If seven seats are sufficient, the first row of rear seats can be fitted with a two-passenger bench seat or with two individual seats. Practical details, such as the seat rail system which enables benches and seats to be moved in the longitudinal direction, or face-to-face positioning, allow even exacting individual comfort preferences to be accommodated.
Digital inside rearview mirror
The large field of vision of the digital inside rearview mirror can provide a better overview of the traffic behind your vehicle, minimising the likelihood of the rear being restricted by objects or passengers.
The area to the rear of the vehicle is monitored by the digital camera mounted on the rear window, which covers approximately 40° of the vehicle’s surroundings. That is roughly twice the amount seen through a conventional inside rearview mirror. Using the switch in the lower part of the housing mirror, you can easily toggle between the conventional mirror function and the camera image. If you have activated the camera function, the events behind your vehicle are transmitted to the mirror display.

Ambient lighting in the cockpit
The ambient lighting in the cockpit welcomes the driver and front passenger with pleasant, indirect light. Depending on the desired lighting mood, the three colour shades "neutral", "solar" and "polar" create a stylish feel‑good atmosphere. Additionally, there are five levels for adjusting the brightness. The discreet lighting makes it easier to adjust one's vision in the dark from the interior to the street, as the degree of contrast is reduced.
Burmester® surround sound system
The Burmester® surround sound system brings exciting surround sound into the vehicle thanks to an exceptionally well‑tuned amplifier and speaker system. 15 speakers and a bass reflex speaker together deliver 640 W. An awesome sound is delivered to every seat thanks to the multichannel surround sound technology. Visually, the Burmester® logo on the speakers makes reference to the high‑quality surround sound system.
With massage, air-conditioning and reclining function
Relax, recover, feel good: the luxury seat indulges the rear passengers with exceptional comfort. Thanks to individually adjustable massage, seat climatisation and reclining functions, as well as ambient lighting, integrated stowage compartments and drinks holders, virtually all comfort wishes can be fulfilled.

Table Package
The optional Table package features many functional extras that make spending time in the rear passenger compartment more pleasant. They can use the folding, movable table for eating a snack, working or playing a game. Cup holders located in the sidewalls hold drinks securely in place. The additional, practical stowage options in the nets on the backrests of the driver's and front passenger's seat and the individual seats in the rear also make the vehicle interior even more functional. And mobile devices can be connected up and charged through the 12 V socket.
Panoramic sliding sunroof
The optional high‑grade panoramic sliding roof lets plenty of light penetrate the vehicle interior through its large glass surface to lend the vehicle a bright, friendly, feel‑good atmosphere. The sliding roof can be electrically opened at the front and thus offers an additional option to let air into the vehicle. A two‑part, electrical roller sunblind operates as convenient protection from the sun. The panoramic sliding sunroof measures 1900 mm x 1120 mm and has a glass surface area of more than 2 m2.
Valuable assistance in staying in lane
The Lane Keeping Assist function can help prevent accidents due to unintentionally leaving the lane the vehicle is travelling in. A multifunction camera can recognise lane markings and monitors whether the vehicle is moving in its own lane. If the system detects that the vehicle has drifted out of its lane unintentionally – for example due to a lapse in attention – it warns the driver by means of a pulsating vibration of the steering wheel. This prompts the driver to return to the correct lane.
Helps with lane changes and reversing
Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert can use visual and acoustic warning signals to help avoid accidents when changing lane and reversing. If Blind Spot Assist detects a vehicle in the blind spot, it displays a warning with a red triangle in the corresponding outside mirror.
The system uses proximity sensors to monitor the environment over an area of approximately 3 metres to the side and rear of the vehicle. Blind Spot Assist starts monitoring at a vehicle speed of around 30 km/h.

Active Brake Assist
Active Brake Assist can help you prevent accidents with vehicles in front and with crossing pedestrians or to minimise their consequences. If the risk of a collision is detected, a visual and acoustic warning is first triggered. If the driver does not respond, the system initiates autonomous emergency braking.

The ATTENTION ASSIST system can help to avoid momentary nodding off and therefore, in particular on long or night journeys, contributes towards increased driving safety. The system visually and audibly warns drivers if it identifies typical signs of fatigue or inaccurate behaviour and suggests taking a break. Steering wheel movements are used to analyse the handling and generate an individual driver profile.
Illuminates the road in the best possible way
Thanks to Highbeam Assist Plus the driver benefits from the best possible illumination of the road at all times, without dazzling other road users with the main beam. Highbeam can remain switched on constantly. If the system detects vehicles travelling ahead or oncoming traffic, these are then automatically spared from the light cone of the main beam. This makes the tedious switching from dipped to main‑beam and back again a thing of the past, so that the driver can concentrate fully on driving and the traffic situation.
Can help to stay in lane in a crosswind
Crosswind Assist can detect track offset caused by strong crosswind gusts in good time and help the driver to stay in lane. A sudden track offset of the vehicle can cause inappropriate steering reactions on the part of the driver. Crosswind Assist can correct the course of the vehicle automatically from a speed of 80 km/h. The track offset is therefore significantly reduced and the influence of the crosswind gusts is largely balanced out or reduced.
