Crosswind Assist detects strong winds and helps prevent the vehicle from drifting. For long commutes, ATTENTION ASSIST provides the driver with alerts when there are signs of inactivity. In addition, a full suite of airbags (driver front-passenger, thorax-pelvis and window) come standard. The Vito Panel Van also has the latest generation of the ADAPTIVE ESP® Electronic Stability Program. Standard safety features also include Active Brake Assist^^, Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Assist.^^

A comfortable commute
With the new Audio 30 multimedia head unit, the Vito Panel Van delivers both on-road efficiency and entertainment too. Featuring voice control capability, a 7” touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming, a multifunction steering wheel and data space for 800 phonebook entries, the team can stay connected and in control in any situation.
Audio 30 is also equipped with Smartphone integration (Android Auto ® and Apple CarPlay ®)1, digital and AM/FM radio, and USB ports for charging and additional data (MP3, AAC (.m4a), WMA, WAV, and FLAC compatible), supporting entertainment for every taste.2
Robust wood flooring
Protect your compartment floor while transporting heavy loads. The optional load-securing rings can also be used with the timber flooring. This improves insulation and acoustics and is easy to clean.
A fixed anchoring system secures your load
Treat the Vito Panel Van’s side walls as extra storage space with the optional tie-down rails on the waist rail. Help prevent cargo from slipping or toppling over. Additional lashing eyelets and securing straps are required for boxes and pallets.
Doors open to sidewall for easy loading and unloading
Load and unload fast using the optional double-wing rear doors that open 270°, all the way to the vehicle sidewall. They are held in place with two magnetic locks, which makes it easier to unload bulky items and prevents the doors from slamming shut. When space is limited, reverse the van into position with the rear doors open and secured. The doors can be locked at a 95-degree angle too.
Like an extra pair of eyes on the road
Business moves fast. Active Brake Assist^^ helps you maintain a safe minimum distance from the vehicle ahead. If the distance becomes too close, a visual and audible warning will activate. This standard feature can also actively support evasive and braking manoeuvres if the driver fails to react.
Staying between the lines
Long business trips can test your concentration. The standard Lane Keeping Assist function has a multifunction camera that recognises lane markings and controls. If you’ve drifted close-to or out-of the lane due to a lapse in attention, the steering wheel will vibrate, prompting you to correct your steering.1
Change lanes safely
The standard Blind Spot Assist^^ provides an extra pair of eyes to help get you to your destination safely. You will receive audio and visual warnings when there is a vehicle in your blind spot when changing lanes or reversing. Warning signals and a red triangle will appear in the mirror, allowing adequate time to see obstructions.
Stay focused on the road
Driving at night or travelling long distances can be exhausting. ATTENTION ASSIST, which is standard on Vito, has been designed to identify signs of fatigue or inaccurate driving behaviour. If ATTENTION ASSIST detects low attention, a coffee cup symbol appears on the dashboard and an audio signal sounds to suggest a break. It works at speeds of more than 60 kilometres per hour and can be switched off or adjusted for sensitivity.1
Stay stable in strong wind
A sudden gust of wind may cause a driver to overcorrect while steering, potentially putting your vehicle and others in danger. Crosswind Assist detects strong wind and corrects the course of the vehicle automatically from speeds of 80 kilometers per hour, helping to balance or reduce any unexpected offset.1
Improved vision in all conditions
Visibility can change constantly on a journey. The Vito’s optional1 LED Intelligent Light System adjusts the light cast on the road, depending on the conditions. The system includes adaptive headlights, which can swivel and alter luminosity, and Highbeam Assist Plus, which continuously optimises illumination of the road and helps prevent dazzling oncoming drivers. In addition, the cornering lights improve road illumination over a wide area when turning, allowing improved visibility.

The driving demands on your business can change daily and the Vito Panel Van is ready to adapt. Front-wheel and rear-wheel drive options allow you to choose the drive system that suits your needs. On the road, the 9G-TRONIC PLUS 9-speed automatic transmission1 enables drivers to travel comfortably, while the 6-speed manual transmission and independent suspension provide the agility and efficiency of a passenger car.
Transport for the whole team
The optional two-seater front passenger bench seat allows space for an additional passenger. Both seats on the bench have a three-point seat belt and a height-adjustable head restraint. The bench has a removable single-piece seat cushion.
Brighten the load compartment
Installed at the top rear of the load compartment, the optional LED light strip provides additional illumination in the load compartment, and projects minimal shadows. The LED technology requires low power consumption and has a long lifespan.
Exceptional protection in collisions
Ensure that you and your team are protected by a full suite of driver, front-passenger, thorax-pelvis and window airbags. The driver’s airbag is integrated in the steering wheel. In the event of collision, all airbags are programmed to deploy in milliseconds.
Maximum versatility
Sliding doors on both sides of the Vito Panel Van come as standard. They provide flexible access to the rear of the vehicle, which makes loading and unloading easier.
Floor-anchored rail system.
Ensure your load is carefully secured before you start your trip. The optional load anchoring system secures objects using two anchoring rails on the load compartment floor, plus lashing eyelets and securing straps. Depending on the cargo retention rails, the maximum spot tensile strength is 500 daN. The hole pattern with 25mm intervals allows the load to be secured flexibly anywhere in the load area.
